Which Mobo supports overclocking

Hi everyone,

Love from india❤️

Planning to build a budget pc and chose gigabyte b550m ds3h motherboard for ryzen 4650g APU...

Will this mobo supports overclocking? If not suggest a budget mobo around 150$ or 10,11k rupees.

Thanks in advance.

All AMD AM4 motherboards support overclocking except for the entry-level A320 and A520 chipsets.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

All AMD boards support it except the A Series Chipsets. However I would still go for the X series only because it has better VRMs, and possibly VRM cooling.

The geek himself.

Some X-series are worse than B450/550.

The B550M DS3H is a bottom of the barrel board.

That said, it is, like all B550 boards, still capable of overclocking.

Can & should are two different things, keep your clocks moderate & be mindful of your PC cooling, I think you'll be fine unless you put an intense load &/or clock on it

The real truth is the Cpu comes automatically overclocking from the box. User intervention = none required.

PBO = Auto (default overclocked)

PBO = Enabled (boosted overclocked)

PBO = Disabled (runs base frequency)

Yeah I don't think you're going to practically gain much from a manual overclock on a 4650G.

You'll want fast RAM though since the onboard graphics depend on it.
