Roughly $1500 First PC Build

Budget (including currency): ~$1500 usd

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, RTX minecraft, Forza, and COD

Other details  I already have a 144hz monitor, am willing to switch from intel to amd if a little cheaper. I plan on overclocking the cpu. Also, the price for the graphics card is just an estimate, per usual availibility and msrp isnt too accurate rn.

Could someone help me trim the price down a little. (I dont need RGB)

Welcome to 2021 where AMD is more expensive than Intel. 5000 Series really changed the landscape, its overall faster than Intel but also more expensive.

If your aim is 1440p144, this should be a nice build, with a beefier GPU and a more sensible CPU that you can still heavily tweak through force installing XTU.

Those 2 prices are REALLY volatile, especially the board. It was like 2 weeks ago where theyre like 30-50$ cheaper than the equivalent ryzen 5 set. So as par of the course of the usual, remember to check for deal to see if you can find something with bigger performance at similar price or even cheaper.
