First time build

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: pretty much every game as it will be main use with some occasional streaming or digital art 

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): current parts list I've looked up

Case:  Corsair Obsidian 1000D
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. or I9-11900k
CPU cooler: Corsair H100I or Noctua NH-D15
Motherboard: AMD Asus ROG crosshair VIII dark hero or if Intel MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE
Ram: Corsair Vengance 4x8GB got already 
HDD: 3x 4TB Western digital
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1tb M.2
GPU: Gigabyte: Gforce RTX 3090  preferably or what ever i can get hands on 
Power: Corsair FUll modular 1000W
Fan Controler: Corsair Commander PRO
Fans: Front 8x LL120 or 3xLL140    Top: RGB 3x LL140 got fans already but may swap for LL121 for led both sides 

 

 

Planning second mini pc as stream capture as case can hold it 

 

Open to any recommendations never built pc solo from scratch but do work on them as part of my job and fixed my current now and then so do have tech knowledge to degree

Dont, unless you wanna stream consoles and even that you should be able to run 1 PC as is.

Overall pretty good list compiled here, i would go for a 12TB seagate unit instead, but i know some are gonna be super sketched about it. For the board, thats too overkill imo, stick to bang for the buck B550's like B550-F or B550 Aorus Elite. And for cpu between the 2, considering youre going to wait for a 3090 might as well jump for 5950x.
