Is the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite V2 good?

I'm planning on upgrading my current motherboard, and found a B450 Aorus Elite V2 for a really good price in my area. However, after looking at reviews, I noticed that people were having some problems.

The main thing I want to know is, do both M.2 slots work, can I use 2 M.2's at the same time, and does the motherboard have a problem with overclocking (I want to do all these things, but the reviews said they had problems with them).

My current build:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Mobo: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite V2

GPU: XFX Radeon RX 6800 SWFT 319

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO (4x8 3200MHz)

Storage: Patriot P300 128GB, XPG SPECTRIX S40G 1TB, WD HDD 1TB

Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i RGB ELITE

PSU: Corsair RMx 750W 80 Plus Gold

Case: Corsair 4000D

Monitor: AOC Q27G2S

Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM

Mouse: Roccat Burst Pro

Headphones: Roccat ELO 7.1 USB

Microphone: Roccat Torch

It should not have a problem utilizing both M.2 slots.

Overclocking, for Ryzen I wouldn't bother. It will run fine at stock and PBO.

That said, as much as I like Gigabyte, I didn't like their implementation of BIOS for Ryzen personally on the Gigabyte B450 Aorus M I have.

If you're upgrading, I'd recommend a B550 motherboard. There should be a glut of them NBIB on the market due to newegg bundles, and they should be pretty inexpensive.

Great to know, thanks! I'll have a look at some B550 boards then
