I already have a build pretty much in mind already, but I know how creative and smart the people on this forum are so I thought I'd see what you all can come up with.

1. Budget & Location

US $, because microcenter charges kind of high taxes, I would prefer to stay around $1900 so the total ends up at $2k

2. Aim

High performance gaming, some video editing, video recording. I would like the components to be high end because I plan to watercool this in the future.

3. Monitors

I would love to have 2 monitors, I would settle for one though. 1080p IPS >5ms.

4. Peripherals

No OS no peripherals.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Why are you asking me this?

6. My requests/Notes

-mATX

-Must use fractal design arc mini r2

-Blue themed

-SLI capability for upgrading in the future

-Silence Optimized

-Don't recommend me parts you wouldn't use yourself

-MUST BE FROM AMAZON OR MICROCENTER, the more microcenter the better.

I'm not using links but:

Processor: i7 4770K

GPU: Single 780 for now ( SLI later )

16GB 2133Mhz RAM ( any brand )

Go with a H100i to cool and overclock your processor, get a blue-black motherboard which supports SLI and the case you've selected yourself already.

I think this fits in your budget.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3kBWz Something like this would get my vote. So you plan on gaming on both monitors?

Very close to what I have made :P, I have never gamed on multiple monitors, those monitors seem to have small bezels so it wouldnt be weird, but mainly being able to play and watch a youtube video at the same time or have xbox on one screen and my pc on the other.

That's what I'd suggest too. Gaming on both monitors would cut your frame rate in half.

if you going for this, print everything from newegg, and take to microcenter, if they have the same they match the price(if the manager is nice enough, which is usually the case) I did that when I got my PC, and one of the things I look it right at their store to match the price =D, and if is u have a problem with 30 days (if im not mistaken) u can change for a brand new one no questions ask. Also one thing that I wish I had done is the replacement parts for video cards, u can change cards when u pay a bit exatra, but they give you the price you pay on they purchase day, and you can exchange if u pay the replacement thing, i regret I didnt do it, or i would be getting a 780 myself or wait a bit more for maxwell. look at their website, and there they have all the rules.

Everyday Rig: CPU: Intel i7 3930k (stock), Graphics Card: Asus Strix GTX 1080 Advance Edition, Ram: 32Gb 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance, Storage: 128Gb Samsung 830, 2Tb Seagate Barracuda, CPU Cooler: H100i GTX Noctua F12 iPPC 2000RPM and Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM, Windows 10 Pro, Power Supply: Corsair HX1050 80Gold, Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Keyboard: Corsair K65 Cherry Red,  Mouse: Razer Mamba TE

also, I got this build with a little more space on SSD and HDD, 40 bucks more so you may enjoy a little more maybe.

not much of a change from yours, but just some things I would do, the CPU i did put a noctua, but if you going to to custom watercool you wont need it, which it will make the price go a little lower than the one you did.

Enjoy you next build.

Why the 4 separate Ram kits? You're paying way to much for 16gb.

CPU: i7 3770k @4.5Ghz 1.26v Cooler: H100i 2 Sp120 Quiets MoBo: MSI Z77 MPOWER Big Bang RAM: 16GB G.Skill Sniper 2133Mhz CL9 Graphics Card: Asus Direct CU II R9 290 Storage: Vertex 4 128GB, WD Black 1TB Case: NZXT H440 Green
