Budget (including currency): ~2500 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

RTX minecraft

Video Editing

Streaming MC

3D model rendering in blender

Running 2-3 screen recordings of 2-3 Minecraft game sessions at once(not using RTX)

Running complex math formulas in MC

large storage

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have been looking for a while and come to realise theres a lot I don't know.

Video rendering and Minecraft Java both work on the CPU. RTX is graphics card
I'm changing from a macbook (where i have written mods and code for minecraft for the new PC build to run)

I have been told to look at https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/ready-to-run-pcs/gaming-pc/88494-ss-sentry3060 with upgraded ram, this could be a start but I cant tell if its upgradeable in the future

I have been told to look at https://www.pccasegear.com/products/54176/pccg-hellfire-6700-xt-gaming-system but another site said this isn't going to be a good deal

there was also this suggestion https://techfast.com.au/products/AMD-Ryzen-5-5600X-RTX-3070-8GB-Gaming-PC-May?utm_source=ozbargain&utm_medium=deal&utm_campaign=5600X-3070-MAY

I am looking for something that doesn't break the bank (i can go over 2500) and it doesn't need to be a pre-build but thats the only advice I have been given

The essentials are running Minecraft at a high-end, this means running shaders (ill be testing shaders i work on), while recording and streaming.

I don't know much about refresh rate etc as the macbook was a macbook and I didn't need to think about anything like that since there was no point because its a macbook and nothing can change in it

Ahh a fellow aussie 😛 Well due to the current market, I would try put 1.5k to the PC and 1k to the GPU so u might be lucky if you can get an RTX 3060 ti or RTX 2070 Super off Facebook Marketplace and maybe a 3700x/5600x CPU

Discord : https://discord.gg/AuFFAA5FAp

PC Spexifimacations :

- AMD Ryzen 7 5800x 8c/16t Zen3 Desktop Processor

- GeForce RTX 3080 EAGLE OC 10G (rev. 2.0)

- G.SKill Ripjaws 32GB (4x8) 3200MHz CL16

- Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 Wifi (Super Sexy Indeed)

- 1TB WD Blue NVMe M.2 SSD + 4TB 2.5" 7200RPM HDD

Heres a lil list I compiled from Centrecom for a nice build (unfortunatley they dont have ability to share a link so you can just look at the screenshot). Build consists of a Ryzen 7 5800x + RTX 3060 if you can mange to find em. I wasn't sure what your other build preferences where so I went RGB all they way with no Wifi+BT, Anyways. I did not pick a CPU cooler but the 5800x does NOT come with one so u will need to pick one but typically for $30 you can get an AMD Wraith Prism off facebook marketplace. If you want you could drop the CPU down to a 5600x or 3700x if you wanna free up some cash for other stuff.

That case has little airfow, that PSU sucks, and that RAM is way too overpriced.

Case is meh value, AIO is terrivle value and not needed, SSD is also terrible value, and that PSU is quite mediocre.
