Gpu bottleneck

While playing gta 5 my gpu usage is 90 to 98 and my CPU is 25 to 30 usage and fps is 58 to 75 what to do now ?

 

 

My specs 

Cpu: intel xeon x5675 overclock to 4ghz

Gpu:gtx 1660

Ram: ddr3 corsair 3*4gb ram 1600mhz 

Mobo: Gigabyte x58a-udr3 rev2.0

Psu:corsair cv650

Gta 5 is a terrible benchmark. Especially if its online.

 

Your x5675 isnt a very efficient cpu so its low usage is moreso linked to the game not being able to use the cpu in an efficient manner.

 

While I cant say 100% that your entire platform is too old, I can say that your gpu is probably the fastest part in it. Take it from someone who uses two x5679s

100% (or near it) GPU utilization isn't necessarily an issue. The GPU will always be fully utilized unless there's some other limiting factor.

 

When it becomes an issue is if you can't run the games you want at the quality and resolution you want with an acceptable frame rate. That's entirely a subjective thing. If you're happy with your gaming experience, though, no, there's no need to upgrade just because it's being fully utilized.
