They definitely need to be replaced, but I don't want to pay $30 for an OfFiCiAl Hp RePlAcEmEnT.
Is it safe to cram a 3-pin connector onto the 5-pin header? Or is there some adapter or something that would let me do this?
Any help would be appreciated!
This site has a decent amount of information regarding the various pinouts of the Z620. You should be able to adapt standard PWM fans.
