Hello, I am in need of a new gaming rig, I saw the build plan thread recommendations thing so I will post this in that format.

1. Budget & Location: I am in the US and my budget is $1200 MAX. (USD)

2. Aim: The Aim of my system is to play games such as Far Cry 3, War Thunder, Garys Mod, Minecraft, TitanFall and Kerbal Space Program.  Also to browse the web and listen to music.

3. Monitors: Um, I do not have any good montiors in the house so I would like to upgrade, 1 monitor is fine 2 would be best also at least 1080p and no bigger than 26 inches.

4. Peripherals: I do not need any Peripherals.

5. Why are you upgrading? I am upgrading because my HP ENVY dv6 laptop has a i7 and a 630M that cant really handle anything at high quallity.

Also: I would perfer good color scheme and a Fractal Design R4 Case.  and please Windows 8 and a SSD for boot.

Thanks, - Puzuka

He said he wants to overclock.

I would go with that but 1 monitor, switch to msi twin frozr gtx 770, 4670k, and z87 motherboard. might add up to $1250-$1300 but it would be worth it.

Would there be anyway to do a 4670k and a Z87 board with a aftermarket CPU cooler?

You'd be sacrificing ~$100 or more on what should be spent on a better gpu if what you want to do is gaming.

haha that one doesn't have any ram either D: must be april fools troll.. i hope

It does. Scroll down on the list.
