what is this?

so as long as ive had my pc this little mark has been on the screen. i always thought it was a defective pixel on my monitor, but was confused because it would sometimes disappear. turns out it would always disappear when i wasnt looking at my desktop. I was looking at it again and running some troubleshooting when i noticed that it could become highlighted/clicked on. i also noticed that i could expand the tab (image 3). There are no maximise, minimise and close tab buttons. anyone know what this is?

2nd photo. looks like a black ish line with shadows around it. like i said, turns out its not a pixel issue and its a giant window i cant close

Check task manager?  See what's running?

Check startup apps?

I actually had the exact same thing, I used Alt+F4 to close the window. It never showed up in Task Manager so I have no clue what it was, but it came back several times after startup. Then one day it just stopped, not sure why. Maybe something updated.

are you sure it's not just part of your wallpaper?

ive used multiple wallpapers and the problem persists. turns out it was a part of dragon center, an msi rgb and game controller. Once i deleted the exe file for the 'voice control' it stopped showing up
