I recently brought a prebuild from Fierce PC which is a lovely company over here in the UK.

It consisted of

CPU        AMD Ryzen 3    67 °C Matisse 7nm Technology
RAM        8.00GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36)
Motherboard    Micro-Star International Co. Ltd. A320M-A PRO (MS-7C51) (AM4)    48 °C

Graphics    4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER (ASUStek Computer Inc)    83 °C
Storage
            465GB SanDisk SSD G5 BICS4 (SATA (SSD))    40 °C
3726GB Seagate BUP BK SCSI Disk Device (USB (SATA) )    35 °C
1862GB Western Digital WD My Book 1140 USB Device (USB (SATA) (SSD))    40 °C
1863GB TOSHIBA External USB 3.0 USB Device (USB (SATA) (SSD))    40 °C
223GB ADATA SD600Q SCSI Disk Device (USB (SATA) (SSD))    43 °C

1 x Aerocool Integrator 600W 80+ Power Supply

Last Night while running SAM Broadcaster, Second Life and MSI Dragon Center on Extreme Performance my PC's Audio started to slow down like a record deck being turned off and eventually frozen screens.

I had no choice but to hard reset.

What causes this and is there anything I can do to not have a repeat event?
