on my mobo b75ma-p45

 

I have 8gb ram/i5-3570/gtx10603gb/ssd and when I play certain games I cant have a internet browser running it lags the game hard. and im wondering if more ram would be the fix?

When playing  a game in question, open task manager and review the memory usage.

if it's anywhere over 7gb, ya need to download some more ram!

I tried searching the model number on this list and it didn't come up.

ctrl+f on the list and searching crucial only showed 3 results and none of them was the same model number.

 

realistically speaking I do think there's still a good chance it could work, but it's safer to search for something that is listed as compatible.

fit? yes work? probably not.

 

your problem seems to be a bottleneck caused by 8gb RAM, on an CPU that is 9 years old and a GPU that is 5 years old with only 3gb. i dont know what games you are playing but take cyberpunk 2077 on steam for example.

your CPU and RAM just barely make the requirements to run the game. your GPU is slightly better but not by much. i would look into getting a new motherboard, CPU and RAM.
