Server PC Build

Hi, I am planning on building a server to run games on, the types of games will be Minecraft, Garry's Mod, TF2, etc. I will also be running a TS3 server on it. I have a budget of 300 GBP, I wont need an OS as it will be running Linux or peripherals as I will be using my PC to interact with it. I also have a spare HDD so that isn't needed ether. I am currently thinking of using an AMD Athlon X4 760K CPU and 4GB of ram. Recommendations for parts would be appreciated.

more ram is needed

 

minecraft & garry's mod servers are ram hungry. (I would know, I'm running tight on a 4 GB server with just minecraft)

The 760k is a great cpu, except it runs hot and the stock cooler can't handle it. You will need more ram, especially for Minecraft. You might need to get a NIC because fm2 boards are usually low on features.
