Watch a video on triple monitor

I have 3 vertical 27" monitors and wanted to know if there's a way to watch videos (whether Youtube or VLC), extended across multiple monitors.

I know some people are able to do this with video games, but was wondering if there's a way to do this across monitors.

don't have the windows maximized and just drag-resize it across the entire length of the monitors

You need custom resolution which makes OS think that they are one monitor instead of 3.
