If you still have a free standard USB3 connector you can use an adapter

If not there are PCIe cards that in addition to external USB ports have the matching connector on the internal side.

I have a custom built machine that's almost 3 years old and I never dealt with the USB-C on the front of my Lian Li case prior to the past week or so where it became more noticeable that I have a need for it, I have an ASUS Z390-H Gaming MOBO and the board doesn't have a header for the USB-C on the front of my Lian Li case (pc-o11-dynamic), my curiosity is if there is a way to get an internal connector to make the front port usable or so I have the only option of adding a PCI card and getting a couple of ports on the back?
