My CPU temps are jumping up and down randomly, also, lately my pc has been shutting off in a strange way, it just stops sending video output tho every fan is still spinning. I think I should put more cooling on my CPU or change the cooler (Currently relying on the stock cooler) but I don't see it as a priority but tell me if you think I should. My temps are between 60-80 °C and jumping erratically.

Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200
Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 570 4 G
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX
Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart 500 W 80+

Keep in mind I have no extra fans besides the one in the rear of my case. Can't afford rn sorry.

My workload comes down to playing valorant, LoL and very seldomly playing AAA games such as Sekiro or Senua's Sacrifice.

I live in D.R. tho, so average temps here are around 88°F/ 31°C and don't have an AC in my room.

I mean the lack of AC isn't helping you in any way, nor is the space heater of that computer.

Have you been monitoring CPU usage, and does the increase in temperatures at least vaguely match up with the usage?

It could also be possible you mounted your CPU improperly and this is causing your erratic cooling behavior. My 3600, which isn't that much cooler than the 3600XT, on the stock cooler (Wraith Stealth) currently maxes out at 77C, which is under 100% load. I do have good airflow though, and my room averages around 27C.

I have worked in the bigger ATX brother of your case and that single fan in the back, even when paired with a decent air cooler (that isn't downdraft like stock coolers), the Cryorig M9a, the cooling on the Ryzen 5 2600X I had installed in it was really bad. Unfortunately, your best options are to buy 2 more 120mm case fans, and/or remount the CPU cooler. But remounting the cooler requires cleaning the thermal paste and replacing it, which also means buying a small tube of thermal paste that you may only ever use once.

I don't mind buying more fans or a thermal paste tube, as long as my PC stays healthy, Im gonna do that and my temps do go according to my load, but not all the time and sometimes its unexpected. Ty for the tip and have a great day bro.

I would suggest both, but if you are to do only one, then just get the case fans because they won't make a mess and you are really going to need it in the D.R. But the price of a small tube of thermal paste, at least here in the USA, is like 10% of a single cheap 120mm fan. So if it is the same for you in the D.R., do both. But you need to also get your hands on some Isopropyl alcohol (AKA IPO alcohol) and a rag to clean both the cooler and the CPU when you do the remount. If you don't own any, it can usually be found in the health section of a grocery store. But the sizes they give you are just straight up massive compared to what you need. But too bad I guess.

If you don't know how to properly clean thermal paste I can instruct you.
