computer not posting at all

so I just finished building a new computer (I'm using older parts) and when I tried turning it on nothing happened, my monitor detects something but its just black, no words. so I don't know what's wrong, I've tried different ram, CPU and GPU but its the same every time, is it the motherboard? or am I just stupid and doing something wrong.

what GPU you have?

It most likely is the motherboard because I saw a video kinda recently where a viewer had no post as well and the potential issue is that it was some kind of PCIe problem that needed fixing inside the bios. Idk if you are encountering this issue but if you think it is. Try moving the GPU to the down PCIe slot and see if the gpu works, If not then it shouldn't be the case.

Also that issue I mentioned heard that it last happened on a Asus ROG Strix B550-F (I think B550-F)
