I just built a new pc with the msi b550 gaming edge wifi and can not install Windows on my nvme sad. I can't even enter bios. If I plug my old sata ssd in with a windows installation it boots directly into windows. with the nvme the system turns on but there is no display output either. when using the sata ssd games cannot run, I start them and they immediately close.

CPU: r5 5600x
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 16GB (8GBx2) CL16 BL2K8G36C16U4B
MOBO: MSI B550 gaming edge wifi
GPU: msi rx 580 gaming x (same one that was in my old pc)
psu: Seasonic FOCUS GM-750, 750W 80+ Gold, Semi-Modular
Nvme drive: Samsung 970 Evo plus 500gb

Follow these steps and try again. Notice in the video there is no SSD, No CPU, no RAM in the motherboard. Just the 24 and 8 pin connectors.

 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.
