You might as well get a hba with external connetions, like a 9200-8e. Cheaper and works better

But really, this won't mke you money, I really wouldn't spend money here. Just use that hardware you lredy hve.

 

lso tht server is extremly hot and power hungry, Its not gonna be cheap to run in power(think a few hundred pounds a year on power alone.

SAS isn't going to speed it up. From my understanding you plot on nvme ssd and then store on HDD (SATA or SAS, doesn't matter)
