touchpad issue

i've got a problem with touchpad on my macbook air 2015, today it started to work incorrectly: it registers false touches and movements and is just almost impossible to use. (before that some three to four small drops of water got on the touchpad, but i wiped them away after about 5 seconds, maybe that caused the issue).

what can I do?
