PC wake up schedule?

I want to have my old Dell Optiplex 170L turn itself on at a certain time on all days other than Sunday and Saturday. Is this even possible? I'm running Xubuntu 12.04 LTS x86 ATM.

 

I also want to do this on my grandma's HP, which is running Windows 7 Home Premium x64, but I want to have it run on the schedule all week.

I'll probably be doing this at 1 in the morning so the simpler the better.

I've seen that feature in the bios of some computers. Then it wouldn't matter what os you are using.

In windows, you can create a task in task scheduler to do this.

 

EDIT: Sorry, the computer has to already be on for the scheduled task to work.  You could bring it out of sleep mode.

Crap. Oh well, at least it uses a really small amount of juice when it's idling.
