Legacy Tech - Do you have it?

I've got some legacy support peripherals integrated into my build, such as a IDE to SATA converter for data transfer and a USB floppy drive (I don't even know...)

What do you have?

I dont see the point in keeping obsolete hardware. I throw it away or sell it unless I have a specific need to keep it. All my systems are at most 18 month old.

Well, there's obviously cases where people need data backed up and such from old equipment (like IDE HDDs) and other protocols, that's really the only reason why I have a IDE to SATA converter sitting around. I honestly have no clue why I have a USB floppy drive, but I do.

Well, i have some old computers sitting in my closet. Couldnt sell it, the most i could do is throw it away. and I have plenty of space so why get rid of it. I will get rid of it when i run out of room, but until then theres no point.

I keep stuff around if I think it looks cool or it has some sentimental value lol.  I've got a super old mouse that I found at my grandparents house and my old original iphone.  Does my Ps3 count as legacy tech?  oh and my Super Nintendo.

USB floppy drives are great for other business's, example, orthotic milling machines connected using old tech like 486's and Pentium1's.

Petinum, DDR RAM, pentinum cooler, palm tree, functional until I took it apart with force, iPhone 3g, functional but can't download any apps because outdated, Compaq laptop with windows 98, HD failed so I took the laptop apart, old dell latitude
