Hello Guys,

I need some advice.

I'm Planning to upgrade my Antec BP450P PSU to a Some what better 80 Plus PSU.

My current PSU has been holding my RX 570 pretty good despite not being a 80 plus. In order to limit my GPU's Power consumption, I had limited/locked it to a maximum of 30 FPS in GPU Drivers.  So, it was consuming like approx. 40-50 watts while gaming. However, I barely played any game on it due to lack of time/work from home. That's all with the history.

Now, I have been looking at the below mentioned PSUs for some time now, and it falls in my budget as well. However, I'm not able to make a decision on which one should I go ahead with.

1. Cooler Master 450W MWE V2 80 Plus Bronze;

2. Cooler Master 550W MWE V2 80 Plus Bronze;

3. Gigabyte P650B 650W 80 Plus bronze;

4. Antec NeoEco 550M 80 plus Bronze.

Did some research on the first two aforementioned PSUs, and it was mentioned that its based on some DC to DC, LLC technology. Have zero idea what that technology is but i found that its basically a new technology, and that it's good.  No idea on what technology 3rd and 4th is on.

Also, I've checked the PSU tier list. I'll be honest with you, that was like the first time ever i had a look on that list, and i may be wrong here but gigabyte was in the 3rd tier and antec was there in the second tier. No idea about CM.

I agree that all the aforementioned PSUs aren't that great but they are within my budget. Corsair CX series are either too costly or are out of stock since like a few months now. No point in waiting for them.

So, Requesting you'll if you could Please advise me here on which one should I select. Also, whether a 450w would be good enough or not considering I'm going to upgrade my CPU to Ryzen 5 2600 (not an upgrade but still good enough).

Current specs :

R3 2200G,
MSI A320M Pro vd/s version 1Mobo,
RX 570,
4GB x 2 sticks,
2 HDDs,
And an Antec BP450P (this is a BP model, and not the VP model).

Also, I'm extremely sorry to ask the following on a wrong thread:

1. Considering CPU ugrade, Will the current MOBO is going to be fine With R5 2600?

MSI website does say that the said CPU is supported though.

2. whether a 120 GB SSD would be enough for windows and MS Office ?

If aforementioned 450W would be enough, i can get my hands on a 240GB SSD.

P. S. I'm not brave enough to perform any kind of overclocking.

Sorry for the long description, and grammatical mistakes.

Thank You.

The neoeco is probably the best there, I'd just get a cx450w if it's cheaper.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

Antec is in tier D, Gigabyte is in tier C and the Cooler Master is either in tier B or C depending on input voltage range.
