[HELP] My HDD Response Time

Hey guys, this is my first post here, so hopefully I'm doing nothing wrong.

 

Also don't blame me for my english knowledge, I know it's not the best.

 

So to my problem:

 

If I play a game called "Ragnarok Online 2" wich just came out on Steam I get a response time from my HDD over 22000MS. 

 

Result = 1 or less Frames per second.

 

Some simple benchmarks:

 

Battlefield 3 HDD Response Time = around 5-11MS

 

League of Legends HDD Respone Time = around 5-8MS

 

Ragnarok Online 2 isnt like THE "Super ultra mega looking and performance using game".

 

To my specs:

i5 2500k 4.5GHz 

EVGA GTX 680 SC OC

8Gb 1333Mhz RAM

500GB HDD 7200RPM Sata 3

Win8 x64

 

Since my CPU and GPU are running almost in IDLE while playing Ragnarok Online 2, I was like: "It was to be the HDD!!!"

 

It's kinda confusing me that it's just this one game that is actually not working. I also tested the game on my shitty ass notebook and it's running smooth. 

 

Hopefully someone will be able to help me out ASAP. Thanks in advance.

 

Dont tell me to update my drivers, please! :)

I know nothing about that game but, you could try running steam as an administrator, as well as that game.

P.S. I think it has nothing to do with the game, since it runs smooth at my shitty Laptop.

I got it now. It was my G Data Anti Virus...

Antivirus is the scourge of gamers. I was going to suggest it might be installed on a bad sector, but good on you for fixing it.
