Struggling with Asus GT501 PSU shroud

So I’m in the process of building my very first PC and things are slow coming together, but I’m having trouble getting the psu should back on.
I using the Asus GT501 case and I can see where they are suppose to go, I can’t get the right side to go in. Its like the hook in the back is too tall to slide in.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

there is no advice anyone can give you that will work every time because each case is different even with being mass manufactured 

 

the only advice i can give you is trial and error. if the back seems too tall then either push the hook down very slightly and gently before you put the shroud back on or pull up on the shourd slowly and gently while you are trying to put it back on.
