Aye, I can't really hear anything coming from the pump, I've been looking at just replacing with an air cooler for a while now. I'll repaste tonight when I get a chance.

Then I would assume pump is dead. Yes air cooling should be fine imo. You can get alot of decent coolers for the price.

Morning All,

It's been a while since I've posted so forgive me if I miss out any details!

I've booted up my PC this morning to a bit of a "situation" last night I was gaming for about 2 hours then turned off and went to bed, when I've booted up this morning I got the following error message before POST

image.png.7af0c79868418d53baf4cb873accc791.png

So I went into the BIOS, turned XMP off tried again but the PC didn't boot, so left it for about 10 minutes came back loaded up the BIOS again and used the AI Tweaker to take the profile to power saver, double checked that no overclock was enabled everywhere.

Since I've booted up about 10 minutes ago the CPU rocketed up to 94C and sat there while the PC was loading, i've closed everything down apart for Chrome which I'm using to post this, since then it has dropped but it's Idling at 65-70c since.

It's been about 4 months since I applied fresh TIM, could my cooler be on it's way out? I have had the cooler, CPU and MOBO for 4+ years now.

My Rig - Intel I7-5820k@ 4ghz| Rampage V Extreme| 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4|RTX 2060 SUPER| Corsair 650D| Corsair HX750| 2TB Samsung 850 EVO| H100i| 3x SF-120's| 1x 240 cooler master Red LED Front intake

Everything I say defaults to include /s

You should check warranty on the H100i. Can't remember if it got 3, 5 or 7 years from Corsair 🙂
