For the past week or so, when I boot up my computer, I get a message on the boot page saying that my computer will be doing a drive scan and try to fix unless I press a key in the next x seconds. So, after ignoring this for a little while I checked the drive through command prompt (fsutil dirty query c:) and it says my c drive is Dirty. So far I have tried everything I can find online including error checking in the properties window and some command prompt lines I found online (chkdsk c: /F /V /R /X) and everytime it will say it cleaned the disk but will still say it is dirty when I check. So, is this something that I need to try and fix (if so, how?) or is it something that just happens and I can ignore? Crystal disk says the drive is 97% health so I dont think it is that urgent, just annoying to deal with.

Thanks for any help!

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.
