Cheap Ethernet cables

So, I've been looking for some Ethernet cables lately and have been trying to find where they are cheapest. I've heard of monoprice but I was wondering if anyone else had them cheaper.

monoprice is cheap but make sure you order a lot of different crap there (including other types of cables, adapters etc..) otherwise the shipping costs boost the price a lot

Monoprice is great. Amazon has some awesome deals too. Got 50fts of cat 5e cables for $10.

Monoprice is great. Amazon has some awesome deals too. Got 50fts of cat 5e cables for $10.

Better to just use Newegg, you can get a 50 ft CAT 6 cable for $6.99 which is better than any CAT 5 cable. The reason for this is each twisted pair inside the cable is shielded (better signal at longer stretches) and the cable speed is bumped up from 100 MHz that of CAT 5 to 250 MHz.

You can get reels for £0.06 per meter. You will need to terminate it yourself though.

plus cat6 can do 10Gb-E if needed in the future
