Wait what do you mean? They just have networkshares that you can access like you can do with any NAS.

I mean like just plug in a network cable and see it like a big usb I’m trying to make a test nas for a project of mine.

Well it's not that easy but it's also not hard. What OS do you wanna use? Truenas? 

You have to first generate a pool from your disks, then you can make SMB (or Samba) Shares based on that pool. Now you can access that share from your windows machine using the "connect network drive" (or smth like that) function. It's really the easiest part of building a NAS. There's Tons of detailed guides put there once you've chosen your os.
