Hotspot Shield

I have just subscribed to Hotspot following Linus recommendation.

A few observations and maybe a question or two.

Sign up (and paying) is fine first use is straightforward.

As expected things slow down especially the ping. I am in the UK and have a slow connection (8M).

The interesting thing has been the upload speed; if I am located in the USA I can get up to 18 times my normal speed(as measured by Speedtest.net) depending on the time of day.

Now to the question Netflix won't allow me to cast to Chromecast anyone know why?

well all ur traffic is going through the vpn... chromecast probably doesn't see it.
