When I moved up to a 670 I had to use a dvi/vga adapter as my monitor only has VGA in. Is it possible the interference is coming from the adapter as I didn't have interference issues before. Upgrading my monitor isn't an option. How would I fix this?

Is the issue that it isn't sending a video signal to the monitor? Please provide more explanation of your issue. Interference with what, exactly?

Are you connecting the DVI-VGA adapter to the 670's DVI-D port or the DVI-I port? You'll need to use the DVI-I, because DVI-D doesn't carry an analog signal.

Put a ferrite core on either end of the cable and you would be good.
