Hi! My name is Jay Kandpal, am from Gujarat, India.

Alright.. So here's the build :
Processor : Intel Core i5 9400F
Motherboard : Asus ROG Strix B365-G
GPU : Nvidia GT710 GDDR5(OC Edition) {Due to Bud
get issues}
RAM : HyperX Fury 16GB @2
666MHz
Storage : Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVME
PSU : Antec BP450W
Cabinet : Antec NX210

Monitor : Acer (1366*768) 18.5" 60Hz {Had to use the old monitor}
Keyboard : Zebronics Max Pro V2
Mouse : Zebronics Transformer
Headphones : RedGear Cosmo 7.1

So, the problem is that my CPU Temps used to reach 70-75C on just idle. So, I declocked the CPU a litlle {Yes, I overclocked my 9400F to 4.1GHZ} and now it shows up around 60-63C on idle.
I cant afford to put an after market CPU Cooler.. can someone suggest me, what can be done?

I recently renovated my room, so that my CPU can be in a wide area for better ventilation of fresh air.

and dust! I dont know why.. But the Intake fans accumulate so much dust inside the PC.. I have to clean it every week 馃槥

Wait, how did you overclock your 9400F? You have a non overclockable CPU and locked motherboard.

geometry is hard

Right.. The i5-9400F is not overclockable.. What exactly are you doing?

Doing some basic homework before building a PC is a must. Intel's K and KF series CPUs are overclockable (Unlike AMD's Ryzen whose entire lineup is unlocked). Also, looks like the motherboard also does NOT support overclocking.. What on earth are you doing mate 馃檪

Yes.. I increased the Voltage supply to the cores, i dont know the term for this process, but the Frequency raised from 3.9GHz to 4.1GHz once 馃槃

Those are insane temps for idle. Even when I messed up the thermal paste on my 9600k, idle temps were only around 30C. Are you sure background processes aren't running?

Sadly, that stock cooler is not good. Make sure the mobo is adhering to all of the stock power limits . No multi-core enhancement. No forcing the CPU to stay at 4.1GHz. It needs to be allowed to operate at its stock all-core, with the capacity to drop to 2.9GHz base in order to meet its 65W TDP. That cooler cannot handle any sort of pseudo-OC.

Thx for the suggestion. I guess Asus Mobo have taken 3.9GHz as default..

Maybe because the region I live is warmer.. my room reaches upto 40C and I dont have an air conditioner in my room(I'll get one soon) xD
