 should I buy a new laptop that has a ssd 1 terabyte,3060,ryzon 9,16 gigs of ram and a 1440p display at 120 hertz after upgrading a prebuilt omen obelisk that had a 1660 in preparation for a 3070 by upgrading its case power supply and motherboard-the pc had no ssd and an intel i7 9700k same amount of ram  because I already have all of the money I need for the 3070 around 500 dollars the laptop it 1300 USA dollars  I plan on using it for high end games

It won’t perform as well as the desktop, but the desktop ain’t portable. Whichever you want it your choice to make.

If you gonna do that stepping anyway, just do it. Priority is up to how much you want performance compared to portability.
