Depending on your CPU Platform being old or new...
Might be easier and faster to dualboot Windows 7 and Windows 10 on different drives, select your OS at your leasure via BIOS Boot override when you choose to go nonDefault (Win7) over Default Win10.
Windows 7 costs you less than 30gb. And no more dicking around with editing/modifications or anything.
Try going Native OS (supported OS) for that GPU age vs Forcing Windows 10 to "play ball".
Although if you manage it... congrats.
