Hello so I recently got my new GPU and now I want to upgrade my ram.

 My current ram is 4gb 1333Mhz ddr3 and I want to get a 8gb 1600MHz ddr3 ram.

I don't mind if the frequency has to lower itself to 1333mhz just wanna know if it works. Or if it's better to buy the 8gb ram the remove the 4gb one.

I believe that @--SID--said CPU and Motherboard, not the RAM

Going for better ram , you need to look at you cpu and motherboard to check if they are compatible with that ram , so just need the complete info about cpu and motherboard.

Sid was asking about the CPU and Motherboard model names, not the ram compatability of potential cpu and motherboards
