Which way does this go?

The front panel USB C.  The motherboard manual says it will only fit in one orientation, but doesn’t really do a good job of showing that orientation.

One end is shorter than the other.

It'll only go in one way.

 

So try it one way.

 

When that doesn't work try it the other way.

 

When that doesn't work, try it the first way again, but it fits this time.

It is actually only supposed to go in one way but it is very easy to force it in wrong. I've done it myself. I have no idea why it was designed so poorly.

Yes. A 3-pin, digital/addressable, 5V, RGB header. The header to it's left in the picture is a 4-pin, analog, 12V, RGB header. Don't confuse these.
