Good day to everyone!

Came to this forum to ask for help: I'm "working" on a friends laptop, a Vaio PCG-41212X i5 with win10 and I was installing Office last night and when tried a kms service, it doesn't start the os, it gives me a critical_system_failed bsod and it's stuck on automatic repair loops. I cant go on safe mode, tried memtest and chkdsk /r and sfc and no issues were found. I can't even repair the system with a boot usb. Can't access dump files and I don't know what to do anymore.

Sounds like a lot of files got corrupted when it tried to edit the registry.

To fix it you'll probably have to clean install. Though I've actually fixed some problems by "upgrading" my windows installation from the media creation tool from inside the OS.

what do you mean you cant repair it with a USB, what have you tried?

Bootable usb with windows installation media. I repaired my win7 by the repair my computer option on the installation screen. Tried this with win10 and the startup repair didn't work
