Cannot get Microsoft office to install

Hello, all, having a bit of an issue that I cant figure out after a couple hours today... 

That issue aside, one of my attempts for a fix was to uninstall and reinstall office. I have everything successfully uninstalled from control panel, I have used the official uninstall/troubleshoot tool to no avail. Windows is up to date. I have tried multiple installs from both Microsoft and Intermedia.

 

Any thoughts? Im stumped

 

Edit: Its on a fairly new laptop on a buisness fiber connection. Laptop is hardwired, downloads and pings look good.

What version of Office - a retail version or a version you get through your work? If it's through work, do the following.

• If the C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Office\ or C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\ directories still exist, reset the activation state to null: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/activation/reset-office-365-proplus-activation-state
• Download and unpack the ODT: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=49117
• Create a config XML here (https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings), run the ODT and use that XML. E.g. if you've unpacked the ODT to C:\office\deploy
  • CD C:\Office\Deploy
  • setup.exe /download config.xml
  • setup.exe /configure config.xml
• Launch Word or any of the other office apps
