Used to play. Have an AK74 (300fps) and a M1911 that partially doesnt work which is also around 300fps.

The club I used to play with and most of the south island clubs here have a limit for 300fps. Just so no one gets really messed up.. Have had my lip shot open and then another time a ricochet off a barrel into my mouth caused my front tooth to be snapped pretty much completely off.

Thats kind of why I dont play anymore. But I still think its awesome to watch and talk about.

the common fps limit here is 450fps some sites don't have fps limits. i have seen a bolt action AWP that has 700fps.

cant play airsoft since its classed basically the same as a real gun in aus

but it has a marking on the end of the barrel.

In New Zealand you dont need any funny colors or orange tipped barrels. If you have a firearms license or over 18 you can just buy whatever you like. We dont have Full Auto though. Anything that isnt a piece of chinese crap has to be ordered througha  club armored essentially but thats good beacuse it skips customs then. :D

we also dont have orange marks but i see in other country's that they have and we don't need licenses and i see kids play airsoft here, around 12.

In Australia they don't seem to care; I would love to go out and do some airsoft, however it is banned over here in Australia because it's just too "dangerous". They even stated that people have died from it (Which I find hard to believe). It's just because people are so damn paranoid about guns even though they shouldn't be....

I do ;) but shooting at a range isnt as fun as airsoft i would presume ... which would be like paintball but less messy

Its all about those volumetric clouds

i meant shooting each other with real guns and shooting range is really boring unless its competitive like TopShot on History Channel.

dislocated my knee and torn some ligaments which they had to open up to see the full damage leaving me with a nice 12cm scare
