That's just how cheap green screens with webcams and a live video feed are. Nothing you can really do to fix that.

Mostly wrong!
Better lighting will fix a lot of issues.  You need to light your green screen independently from yourself.

My first thought was actually to attempt outside on a sunny day. So your likely right. Ring lights aren't the greatest. You have any other suggestions? My m of monitors have a curved back.

Sunlight is going to be too strong and the faintest shadows will look really dark.  You are better off doing it inside with as many lamps as you can find.  The ring light is good for lighting you, but the green screen should have it's own lights that are actually behind (and off too the sides out of frame) you.
EDIT: and make sure you match the color temperatures of your lights.  Your avatar is light skinned, so you will be best off with 4000k to 5000k lighting.
