Cloning Boot Drive

jeh0

Hello. I currently have 240GB M2 SATA (boot drive) and 1TB installed in my PC at the moment. I am about to upgrade to a PNY CS3030 1TB NVME but the problem is I only have 1 M.2 slot. Can I partition a 240GB in my HDD and clone the boot drive to the partition HDD. Then after that, boot the computer from HDD and clone it again to the new NVME?

Do a clean install if you want windows to work properly and not have issues in the future.

Just move your data to the HDD temporarily and then move it back.
