So I've recently upgraded my old Ryzen 1800x, Asus RoG Crosshair VI and Corsair Dominator Platinum 16Gb 3200mhz up to a Ryzen 5800x, Asus RoG Strix X570-E and Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 16gb(soon to be 32gb) 3600mhz

but I didn't really change the cooling or the case, GPU wasn't a required to be upgraded just yet, the 2080 Super is fine ATM.

I am running a Corsair H110i which is a few years old now (it's noisy as all hell) and a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG Edition.

Things are a bit too loud and a lil bit too toasty in the current case but I've not really been keeping up to date with coolers and cases.

Would appreciate it if you kind folks could help out with some recommendations/suggestions?

I'm UK based and my budget is around £250-300 GBP. Can probably go a bit more if I can sell the current case.

Corsair 4000D Airflow Case and Noctua NH D15 Cooler. If you don't have fans right now theyre pretty cheap so you could get like a 2 or 3 pack since the case comes with 2

Big nerd.

What is noisy? The pump? The Fans? Something else?

Are you looking at upgrading, rather than making what you have work? Seems weird to me that your set up is toasty. What is your definition of toasty?

The idle and load temps on the CPU are toast, unless I have it running at full pelt it over heats easily and the full thing is noisy it's over 3 years old.

Just get the Noctua D15, its very quiet and helps keep your cpu cool. Also a reason why your Pc could be running toasty is the airflow of the case.

I agree with getting a new CPU cooler. I don't agree with a need for a new case.

Yeah it probably is, I didn't really buy the case for airflow, I liked it for looks which in hindsight was silly.

I think the cooler is a must. The case would be nice to have to increase airflow.

Though thinking about this cooler, it'd cover my RGB ram which would then kill the point of having got that.

Form follows function. Do you want it to look pretty or work well? You can have both, but you'll pay for it monetarily. Choice is yours at the end of the day.

This is very true.

I'll need to think on it. Wish I'd thought of it before getting the RAM 🤣
