The connector of the right speaker looks (oddly) like VGA, but a VGA extension cable does not work.

My guess why they don't work is that usually in VGA not all pins are used so in order to save money makers of extension cables omit the unused wires which might be used by your speakers. Also all ground pins per VGA standard are probably shorted and transmitted via single wire or sheath which is probably not the same what your speakers are using.

If you manage to find an extension cable which will have all 15 wires connected 1:1 it should work. Try searching by DE15 (name of VGA connector) extension or similar and look into the cable specs. The other option is DIY if you know how to solder.

Hey guys,

I added a height adjustable desk to my setup and now I am trying to cable manage my stuff a little bit.

The biggest problem is the sub of my G560 Speakers.

The connector of the right speaker looks (oddly) like VGA, but a VGA extension cable does not work.

Has anyone any idea what type of cable I need? And has someone any experience adding cable extensions to these type of speakers? Any loss of sound quality?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I found a cable with all pins (except 1) allocated and now it works like a charm. 👍

Hey buddy, could you tell me what cable you got please? I have tried 3 now and none work... thanks

Sure

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000L11FWU/

The description indicates that it only hat 14 of 15 pins connected, but it still works fine.
