Custom Cables

Go to solution Solved by IkeaGnome,

There's some companies that will do sleeved cables, such as cablemod. Mainframe customs might, and solo sleeving?

Or you could get parachute cord, crimpers and terminals and make them what ever color you want.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Ah ok, thanks

I'm sure there's more that will do it. That being said when I was looking into cable sleeving, in the colors I wanted, it was actually cheaper to buy the stuff to do it myself than to pay to have it custom made.

it's ALWAYS cheaper to do it yourself.  If you don't consider your time of value.

Cable Sleeving is a very slow and tedious task, and if you're not used to that sort of work, you'll sink a LOT of time into it.

Sorry for double post.

Here's some I found on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/CableMod-Classic-ModMesh-Cable-Corsair/dp/B07J6HYF9G/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=cablemod%2Bc-series%2Bcable%2Bkit&qid=1619309278&s=electronics&sr=1-5&th=1

That being said, depending on what power supply you have, these might not work. Different power supplies are wired differently. If you do get premade cables, make sure they are for your power supply.

Edit: Not a double post no more!

@tkitchFor sure! I ended up not doing it though since I went away from RGB and glass panels.
