Please be careful not to format your old drive if you wish to acces old data!

 

I think Den-FI might have misread your question. If the data is somehow innacesible on this new system the drive might be damaged or some form of encryption might have been applied. Especially if the drive was the old systems main boot drive.

 

Could you tell us a bit more about the SSD you're trying to add as a secondary drive? Screenshots could indeed be helpfull..

Assuming you're in Windows, right click your start menu, hit disk management, and post a screenshot of what you see there.
