Hi guys,I just got my new IdeaPad flex today and I notice a Blacklight bleed and IPS glow

check that Blacklight bleeds on the top center.

Btw this is a touch display that I planning to use to study, so there will be some pressure on the display

So is this normal? will it get worse over time? should I return it?

thanks for any help

I think the camera is making it look worse than it actually is.

Back light bleed is common for LCD displays.

Bellow is my two monitors, you can see the back light bleed from the TN panel LCD, and this is normal.image.thumb.png.2f16af1ce06d7813faaa46cc74be98e8.png

Your average phone camera will have its ISO to high to get accurate representative pictures of IPS glow and BLB.

lower the ISO until the resulting picture is similar to what u see IRL.

Generally speaking BLB and IPS will be present on all LCD displays to some degree. Some models are known to be better than others but your not going to find reviews on displays on devices such as that, so just assume its going to be crap as BLB and IPS are not tested for by manufacturers during production.
