recommendations for keyboard/mouse replacement

Hi Guys,

New here, but figured this may be a good place to post this to get ideas what to order.

Had a accident yesterday where a full cup of coffee got spilled on my Microsoft Sculpt comfort Keyboard. Attempt to revive it (full disassembly and cleaning with isopropyl) failed. So I am in the market for a new keyboard/mouse combo.

It needs to be available in Canada and orderable due to lockdown (I'm in Ontario). As long as the price is not insane (I'm not willing to pay $500 but would consider upwards to $150). I also don't like the chicklet keyboards like the Macs have.

If wireless, it will need to have its own dongle and not bluetooth.

And if it complements my LTT deskpad that is in the mail it would be even better :)

Thanks,

You can get full waterproof keyboards for $12.  they’re not real good, and the one I am thinking of has yellow keys with oversized letters for old people but they exist.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
