Over the last 3 years I have been saving old computer parts for a low end server build. I made it so it would be good for just a family Minecraft server and maybe a slower SFTP for some family files. It has an Athlon 200GE and an ASRock A320M-DGS motherboard which I believe is where the issue begins. When building it I ran into (somewhat) expected issues. I knew I would have to update my BIOS so that the outdated A320 board would be able to support a slightly newer Raven Ridge CPU. I believe, however that I updated the BIOS too far, as even with the Ryzen 3 1300X I was using to update the BIOS no longer posts. What should I do?

It depends on which version you updated to, but the 1300X was probably removed from the list while the bios it's self isn't large enough to hold Agesa code for 4 generations of processors. However the Athlon 200GE is supported by all boards and all bios revision while this is the same CPU that is used to flash boards when you go through AMD's RMA for a bios flash kit.

So you want to put the 200GE back in and select an older bios to run the 1300X with that board.

GL!
