Meh, they might've been parroting, the 650w cxf was on sale on newegg for $65 a few days back, which is an insane deal, I know a lot of people who used it in budget PCPP lists.

I saw it was gold in the LTT PSU list as well so i was suprised to hear that there was better at the same price. I didnt just pick it because of the rgb.

It’s not a bad PSU, it’s a great budget unit. But in a budget like this, why go with it? Something like an Erenmax D.F Revolution (like you listed above) is a great unit for the price.

Exactly the psu must be at 850 atleast

uhhh... No. The maximum rated wattage that a 6 watt and 8 watt combined can feed to the GPU is 225w+ 75w of power from the board, so 300 watts is the maximum the 2070S can consume by itself (even though the tdp is actually 215w), the 10700k has a tdp of 125w but can get up to over 200w when overclocked, or when it's turbo boosting. Let's just say you overclocked it, so it's at around 225w. 300+225w is around 525w, add ~25w for the rest of the system (yes actually, the rest of the system doesn't consume much power), and a 50w overhead. In the worst-case situation, the bare minimum you'd need is 600w. In a good situation, the bare minimum is more like 400w.

Being honest, the PSU budget doesn't make a ton of sense, OP looks to be purchasing all their components at once to build a new pc, so how much the PSU costs shouldn't matter too much as long as it isn't overpriced or something, and it fits in the overall budget.

Thank you. I'll leave the PSU recommendations to you for now.

Provided you're willing to wait/camp for an rtx card (and you don't have any of your previous components), this is probably what I'd recommend:

- CPU switched to a 5600x, overall just a better gaming CPU, doesn't require an external cooler since it ships with one. Might lag behind the 10700 when video editing, you might want to go with the 10700 if you care about that.

-Motherboard is Matx, comes with wifi. It's a great value for what It's worth

-Ram, standard 16gb, 2x8 sticks at 3600mhz cl16. Unless you really like multitasking or video editing, this should be fine

-Nvme is budget, not a bad drive however. There's better out there, but this is one of the best value drives.

-Rtx 3080 FE. Nuff' said.

-Phanteks p360a, an ATX case so it might look a little empty with that motherboard, but It's rgb, has a good feature set, and It looks nice.

-The Enermax revolution D.F 850w is a great psu all-around, comes with some nice features. A little over your budget, it's worth it though.

pcbuilder is telling me, also the case is not compatible 1180180016_ScreenShot2021-04-22at2_53_00PM.thumb.png.0ab8c62e95b5353ae1330c772f93b8ad.png

That is just stating that you may need a BIOS update for the 5600x to work. It’s not a confirmed problem. Also what’s wrong with the case?

Nah, It isn't. The dimensions warning is standard (It'll always be there), I know it'll work just fine, I've checked the clearances, and i actually have the p360a, used it with larger components than what's in there.
As for the bios, if it doesn't ship with the updated bios, you just need to go through a simple procedure to update it, you need like 15 minutes and an 2gb usb stick. How to Update Your BIOS Without a CPU - YouTube

The Noctua NH-12 S comes in black and is a good pricier option but there is also the Hyper 212 Evo which is a more budget option. They are both air coolers.
