Need suggestions

Zuuchin

Budget: $300-400

Country: Pakistan

Current Build Specs:

Motherboard - T3500

CPU - Xeon W3560

GPU - RX570 4GB

PSU - Stock Dell PSU 600W

Case - Dell workstation

1TB HDD, 256GB SSD SATA

I get around 180-250FPS on csgo, and i mostly play CSGO. Given that it is a CPU savvy game, i thought i should upgrade my CPU, which would require the following upgrades:

Motherboard: B450M Pro4

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600/3600

Case: AorusC300/Lian Li 215

Is this upgrade worth it? I cant really afford much as im unemployed and haven't gotten a freelance job either since October 2020.

Youre going to need a DDR4 RAM for Ryzen System, thatll be around 60$ extra. But overall, the IPC and power efficiency (130W Xeon CPU vs 65W on that Zen) gain should be pretty significant to warrant an upgrade.

I would suggest to buy motherboard with bios flashback feature of some sort if you decided to go 3rd gen, otherwise the upgrade i say pretty ok... Also better get dual channel ram if you're running channel

It seems like your averaging plenty high FPS for CSGO already.

Will upping it some actually make a difference?  Is your monitor 250Hz or higher already?
